OBJECTIVES

The objective of the project is to combat the lack of IT awareness and IT education amongst underprivileged communities in South Lebanon; especially, youth, women and persons with disability, who are at a disadvantage in the job market. In cooperation with ESCWA and the Italian NGOs operating on the ground, the project ensures the access of populations in remote regions to cultural and educational activities/events though the Internet.

In addition, the project seeks to disseminate collective security information and advice relevant to post-war situations through public awareness campaigns.
